Hello to everyone!! Welcome to this very first post on my BRAND NEW blog! I am very excited about getting this blog started and I will begin with some introductions! Without further ado....

1. I am blogging because I need something productive to do this summer.
2. Blogging looks like fun.
3. Katie Owens of "Unrequited Wit" inspired me. :)
4. Maybe someone will care what I think about and possibly want to read about it. :)
5. My future Etsy store, but that's a different story.
MY future ETSY STORE
Soooo you might have observed that in my pages I have a tab titled "My Etsy Store" and if you dared to click on it, you would read the words 'COMING SOON'. This is because, unfortunately, I don't really have an Etsy store yet. So HOPEFULLY, I will have one soon. But, if you read my 'About Me' thing, I do dream alot, so no guarantees. :)

Hey Rebecca! I think it is a great idea to do a blog over the summer. Good on ya! I am curious -- what is an "Etsy Store"? I look forward to seeing that, and to reading your posts about what you love about your life. I am also interested in what drives you to be a fashion designer. Who inspired you?
Thanks! I actually don't think I will be writing any more posts for a while because I am working hard on my Etsy store. (Etsy.com is a popular online marketplace where people can sell handmade or vintage items) As to what drives me to be a fashion designer, I don't really know. I guess I've always had a 'passion for fashion':) plus I sew and love sketching. I don't really remember who inspired me first. I guess my inspiration comes when I see or read about entrepreneurs that have worked really hard to get where they are.
